What is your mission with Casablanca hookah lounge?
To bring the richness and beauty of the Moroccan culture here to North Carolina.

What's been your most pivotal business moment?
There have actually been two: the grand openings of Marrakesh cafe, my first lounge, and the grand opening of Casablanca.

What do you like about Raleigh?
Raleigh's a very safe place for a family and it's a growing area, which is good for any new businesses.

What do you attribute to Marrakesh and Casablanca's success?
To provide good hookah, you have got to know hookah.

Who's one of the most influencial people in your life?
Definitely my son, Jad.

Recount a funny story or experience.
Generally, it is always funny when the belly dancer grabs people from the crowd, making them wear a scarf and dance!
